Must be unAustralian the Melbourne Cup does nothing for me but give an excuse to drink champers and laze away the day with the wife.
Far too International now, if the Cup was strictly for Aussie horses it could be a goer for me,but with all the horses from overseas I find it just as unAustralian to see our money leave the country at a time such as this.

Wondering where all the peace is in this world. Seems everything has gone a bit haywire.
Wars all over the planet, doom and gloom everywhere, drought in dear old Oz, rafferty's rules on the roads, up north the Koreans are setting off nukes, don't know what else can go wrong.
Global warming is buggaring up the world. That puts us all up the drain pipe while the waste water goes out to sea.

You can learn a lot about people by what they throw out. You might uncover some dark secret about them. Plus, they might be throwing out something with value that still works.
